Shipping Policy


Shipment and Delivery. Unless expressly agreed to by the parties in writing, Urban Wood Goods shall select the method of shipment of, and the carrier for, the Goods. Urban Wood Goods may, in its sole discretion, without liability or penalty, make partial shipments of Goods to you. We currently only ship within the US and Canada. If you place an order to be shipped to Canada, we will add a flat 20% charge to your order to cover the shipping charge. This will not cover the duties and brokerage. Before we ship we will invoice for the duties and brokerage. Free shipping offers listed on our websites or other marketplaces do not apply to Canada shipment.
  1. UPS/FED EX/USPS: Small items such as benches, stools and wine racks ship within 1-2 weeks. All items are made to order. You will not receive a tracking number until we ship your item. Most small orders ship via UPS across the United States in 1-4 business days with no signature required. Please be aware that orders only ship on business days; we do not offer weekend or holiday delivery. Larger items such as tables and desks often ship via a freight carrier in 4-5 days. You will also receive tracking from Urban Wood Goods via email when it ships and a phone call from the freight carrier 24 hours before to schedule delivery.

       The freight carrier drops the crate off curbside and requires a signature. They will not bring it up stairs for you or into your apartment or home. If you have an item coming via freight carrier please make sure to find a friend or two to help you carry your furniture up to your apartment or home. You will be responsible for disposing of the wooden crate your furniture arrives in. White glove delivery is available if you must have it for a price increase but you must arrange for this with Urban Wood Goods at the time of purchase, or prior to shipment. Inspection. Buyer shall inspect the Goods upon delivery and notify Urban Wood Goods within 3 days of receipt ("Inspection Period") if any Goods are damaged or incomplete. Buyer will be deemed to have accepted the Goods unless Buyer notifies Urban Wood Goods in writing of any damaged or incomplete Goods during the Inspection Period and furnishes such written evidence or other documentation as required by Urban Wood Goods. If Buyer timely notifies us of any damaged or incomplete Goods, we will work to fix or replace such Goods at no cost to you.
